January 7, 2005, Tokyo, Japan n CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. announced the release of their new DUR0200 watch series. Designed with a sturdy body and rugged look for outdoor lifestyles, the fashionable new MDV series is ideal for marine sports lovers and MAR series for outdoor activity lovers.

The name of the DUR0200 lineup is derived from "duro" which is Italian for, durability, and the number 200, which represents 200 meters water resistance. Casio watches have a world-wide reputation for combining performance, reliability & fashion. The new MDV series have been carefully crafted for marine sports lovers, containing features and functions such as a reverse bezel, screw in back and screw lock crown for the ultimate in water-resistance. Also, the dial and back are emblazoned with an emblem of a marlin, the envy of all game fishermen. The new MAR series is designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts with features such as easy-to-see luminous number markings and hands and 200 meters of water resistance.
