Unique Sheen Fashionable Ladies Digital Bracelet Distinctive Design Allows Ladies To Wear Their Individuality On Their Sleeve

January 25, 2006, Tokyo, Japan -- CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. announced the latest additions to its recently revamped Sheen ladies digital timepiece line with two SHN-1002D metal band and two SHN-1002L leather band offerings for a total of four new watches. These horizontally oriented bracelet-style watches provide plenty of visual impact with distinctively wide bands and soft sparkling accents. Sheen is as fashionable as it is functional—ideal for elegant and spirited young women who require their accessories to catch eyes and shine as brightly as they do. Digital watches have typically been practical in nature, featuring useful functions such as stopwatches and date displays. While ideal for sports, training, and other masculine pursuits, the digital watch has not traditionally been thought of as a feminine fashion statement—until now. With the newly revitalized Sheen, CASIO intends to elevate the image of ladies digital wristwatches to exude feminine fashion sensibility and distinctive styling—while incorporating the innovative digital technologies and world-class functionality one expects from CASIO—the embodiment of the CASIO style. The SHN-1002D digital bracelets feature stainless steel bands and case, accented in either black or purple lamé, both with a reverse LCD. The SHN-1002L digital bracelets include one model with black leather bands, red lamé accented stainless steel case, and reverse LCD; the other model has white/pearl leather bands, a white lamé accented stainless steel case, and a soft blue reverse LCD. Bands on both SHN-1002L digital bracelets feature a distinguished buckle design. All four new Sheen offerings include an EL backlight for convenient viewing in the dark, as well as alarm and stopwatch functions expected from a digital timepiece. These new, stylized, and fashionable Sheen offerings are intended not only to draw attention to the individuality of the urban young ladies who wear them, but also to further expand the image of digital watches from functional to fashion—continuing the CASIO tradition of creating both innovative products and an entirely new watch culture.
